No, not a match of course, but passion every hour

Some fire people are already extinguished, or they are at their hottest and some are just getting started.

I was trying out a new technique for a background; on it I drew a man and a woman in one line. Someone asked me why they weren't looking at each other. “It's always been that way,” I said. To which a third person said: spoon, spoon. And so the title was born.

When we were in Indonesia I went to an exhibition of Batik paintings and bought a beautiful batik painting there.  After a while, back home and at work, I thought back to a painting that hung there and I tried to retrieve it from my memory and this is the result. Very different from the original, but according to my feeling.

I just paint these heads to calm my mind. Only when they are finished they get a title because I never know in advance what will come out of my painting brush.
